Resident Evil 9 Revenant Shadows φαίνεται πως θα λέγεται το επόμενο Resident Evil. Η αποκάλυψη έγινε από retailer της Ασίας (Play Asia). Περιγράφει το παιχνίδι ως εξής:
“Resident Evil 9: Revenant Shadows is the latest instalment in the iconic survival horror series by Capcom,” the store description says, without actually telling us anything meaningful about the game, suggesting it’s just placeholder text.
“This game continues the chilling legacy with a fresh story, new characters, and the return of familiar faces. Set in an expansive, terrifying world filled with new threats and mysteries, Revenant Shadows blends intense action, intricate puzzles, and the atmospheric dread that fans have come to love.”
Πέρα από αυτό στον ίδιο retailer εμφανίστηκαν εκδόσεις των Resident Evil 5, Zero και Code Veronica για PlayStation 5. Ο συγκεκριμένος retailer ποτέ δεν ανεβάζει ανύπαρκτα παιχνίδια. Διεθνή site αναπαράγουν την είδηση σαν πλέον δεδομένη. Αναμένεται κάποια στιγμή να δούμε επίσημη ανακοίνωση τουλάχιστον για τα remake/ Remastered. Του Resident Evil 9 η πλήρης αποκάλυψη όμως μάλλον θα αργήσει.
